In Wednesday's non-league match, the host McDonough Rams basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the Calvert Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Rams meet the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. McDonough will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 10-12 record after their 51-15 non-league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
With the defeat, Calvert moves to 2-21 on the year.
