In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Canfield Cardinals basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Salem Quakers.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 2. Canfield will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the match with a 20-5 record after their 65-45 non-league win over Marlington (Alliance, OH).
