In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Wise Pumas basketball team scored a decisive 53-29 triumph over the DuVal Tigers.

In their next game, the Pumas face the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Wise will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 18-2 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).

With the defeat, DuVal moves to 8-12 on the year.
