In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), by a margin of 57-41.

The Warriors (11-16) will now prepare for their outing against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Bears enter the 3A District 3 match with a 9-16 record. In their last match, Hatch Valley overcame Cobre (Bayard, NM), 32-30, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Hot Springs moves to 4-21 on the year.
