In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Colleton County Cougars soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Hampton County Hurricanes.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats come into the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Bluffton nudged Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. Hampton County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Dolphins go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC).
