Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Waialua Bulldogs (Waialua, HI) and the visiting Kalaheo Mustangs (Kailua, HI), witnessed Waialua's softball squad tip Kalaheo by a count of 15-14.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Radford for a non-league match on Saturday, March 2. Waialua will meet a Rams squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Farrington (Honolulu, HI). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Kalaheo moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kailua (Kailua, HI) to meet the Surfriders in a Oahu I - East match on Saturday, March 2. The Surfriders go into the match with a record of 0-0.
