Texas High School Baseball - Iola defeats Buffalo

The Iola Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Buffalo Bison to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leon for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Iola will play a Cougars team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Buffalo drops to 4-3 on the year. The Bison host Teague (Teague, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region III District 20 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-2. Teague won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Rice (Rice, TX)
