North Carolina High School Baseball - Bunker Hill held off by West Iredell

West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 13-11 in a non-league contest.

With the triumph, West Iredell moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Blue Comets in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. The Blue Comets come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Asheboro won 6-1 in their recent non-league contest against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)

The Bears now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patton for a non-league contest on Monday, March 3. Bunker Hill will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
