The Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Gobblers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Port Aransas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Cuero will clash with a Marlins team coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Marlins record now stands at 1-0.
