California High School Baseball - Central Valley defeats Corning

February 28, 2025: Corning, CA 96021

The Central Valley Falcons baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Corning Cardinals to 10 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.

The Falcons now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shasta for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Central Valley will play a Wolves team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Corning drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cardinals host Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Bears go into the test with a record of 0-0.
