The Cherokee Warriors baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Wheeler Wildcats to 0 in the Warriors league win on Friday.

The Warriors now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Cobb for a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 4. Cherokee will play a Warriors team coming off a 13-9 league loss to Walton (Marietta, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, Wheeler drops to 0-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Osborne (Marietta, GA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 4-6. Osborne lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)
