The South Effingham Mustangs nipped the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors baseball squad by a score of 6-5 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 3. South Effingham will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Rebels come into the outing with a 10-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA).
The Terrors (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Blue Devils come into the 5A Area 1 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Statesboro tipped Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA), 11-1, in a league outing.
