Michigan High School Basketball - Johnston holds off Wakefield

The Johnston Speedboys basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Wakefield Cardinals to 55 in the Speedboys non-league triumph on Friday.

The Speedboys now possess a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Dollar Bay for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. Johnston will confront a Bays team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Bays record now stands at 21-4.

With the loss, Wakefield falls to 12-8 on the campaign.
