Maryland High School Basketball - Central holds off Friendly

February 28, 2025: Capitol Heights, MD 20743

The Central Falcons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Friendly Patriots to 55 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 5-17 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. Central will confront a Tigers team coming off a 71-45 league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Friendly falls to 6-16 on the campaign.

This game is a part of the 2025 MPSSAA Boys Basketball State Championships (Maryland) - Class 1A tournament
