The South Albany Redhawks defeated the host Corvallis Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 60-44 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Redhawks clash with the Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette outing, on Tuesday, March 4. South Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 10-14 record after their 60-43 non-league loss to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR).
The Spartans (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against McKay (Salem, OR). The Royal Scots come into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 7-16 record. In their last outing, McKay was defeated by Silverton (Silverton, OR), 72-66, in a non-league outing.
