    Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI) followers were in high spirits Friday as they saw their basketball team nip the host Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI), 34-31 in a non-league bout.

    The Bulldogs now possess a 22-3 record. They play next when they host St. Clair for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 4. Yale will play a Saints team coming off a 65-46 non-league win over Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Saints record now stands at 19-5.

    With the loss, Croswell-Lexington falls to 16-6 on the campaign.
