The Lafayette Generals basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Lexington Christian Eagles to 33 in the Generals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Generals now have a 25-4 record. They play next when they host Henry Clay for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Lafayette will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 78-44 non-league loss to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-18.

With the loss, Lexington Christian falls to 23-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY) to confront the Flyers in a non-league game on Monday, March 3. The Flyers go into the game with a record of 25-5. Franklin County won 60-34 in their recent non-league game against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY)
