West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County thwarts Midland Trail

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) and the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), observed Summers County's basketball team knock off Midland Trail by a score of 67-52.
The Bobcats (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, James Monroe prevailed over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV), 96-9, in a non-league challenge.
