Fans at Friday's league battle between the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) and the host Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), saw Coronado's soccer squad overwhelm Plainview by a count of 12-0.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns enter the 5A Region 1 District 3 battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Caprock was overwhelmed by Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 3 battle, on Friday, March 7. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record.
