Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lake Belton moves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Broncos host Waco (Waco, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 5A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-12. Waco lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Chaparral (Killeen, TX)

The Eagles now sport a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a 5A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, March 4. Ellison will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 0-0 league Belton (Belton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.
