Fans at Friday's league battle between the Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) and the host Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX), saw Langham Creek's soccer squad hold off Waller by a count of 2-1.

The Lobos (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans enter the 6A Region 2 District 16 battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Cypress Lakes was edged by Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 16 battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Waller will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-11 record after their 8-0 league loss to Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX).
