North Carolina High School Baseball - Davie sneaks past Alexander Central

In Friday's non-league game, the host Davie War Eagles baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Alexander Central Cougars.

The War Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their game against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, West Forsyth held off West Stokes (King, NC), 6-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cougars face the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Alexander Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Mavericks enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC).
