Florida High School Baseball - Buchholz defeats Forest

The Buchholz Bobcats (Gainesville, FL) baseball trounced the visiting Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Marion for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3. Buchholz will clash with a Colts team coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Buchholz (Gainesville, FL). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Forest drops to 6-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lake Weir (Ocala, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Lake Weir lost 14-12 in their recent non-league challenge against West Port (Ocala, FL)
