In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 win over the Marvin Ridge Mavericks.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, West Forsyth by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 5-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mavericks meet the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 3. Marvin Ridge will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
