Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting South Walton Seahawks (Santa Rosa Beach, FL), 7-6 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Nease advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers host Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 2-4. Matanzas lost 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Providence School (Jacksonville, FL)
The Seahawks now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Episcopal School of Jacksonville for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. South Walton will play a Eagles team coming off a 19-7 non-league win over Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
