University Trojans (Waco, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Belton Tigers (Belton, TX), 5-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, University moves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Ellison (Killeen, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 5A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-11. Ellison lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Lake Belton (Temple, TX)

The Tigers now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Chaparral for a 5A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, March 4. Belton will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Waco (Waco, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-10.
