The Buffaloes (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson (Buda, TX). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region 4 District 29 outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Johnson was edged by Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 29 outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 5-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).
