In Friday's league outing, the host Centennial Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 win over the Seguin Cougars.

The Spartans (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Everman (Everman, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region 1 District 8 outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Everman tipped Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Owls enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 0-0 league Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX).
