Fans at Friday's league battle between the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) and the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX), saw Haltom's soccer squad hold off Martin by a count of 2-1.

The Buffalos (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Volunteers enter the 6A Region 1 District 8 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Bowie tipped Arlington (Arlington, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.
