The Montgomery Bears soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Huntsville Hornets to 1 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to A&M Consolidated for a 5A Region 3 District 17 bout on Tuesday, March 4. Montgomery will play a Tigers squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Huntsville moves to 1-14 on the year. The Hornets host A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region 3 District 17 bout on Friday, March 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-3.
