Texas High School Softball - Boerne bested by Smithson Valley

The Smithson Valley Rangers triumphed over the visiting Boerne Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Rangers meet the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Smithson Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 9-1 league loss to Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).
The Greyhounds (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Chargers enter the 5A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Boerne-Champion overcame Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX), 5-4, in a league challenge.
