In Friday's non-league test, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), by a tally of 13-3.
Next, the Bulldawgs clash with the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Las Cruces will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Gadsden was routed by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 7-3, in a non-league test.
