Alabama High School Softball - Sparkman edges Hoover

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) and the host Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), observed Sparkman's softball team get by Hoover by a tally of 6-4.

The Senators (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Auburn tipped Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 11-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 28. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, AL).
