Mississippi High School Softball - Northwest Rankin bounces North Pike

February 28, 2025: Brandon, MS 39232

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) and the visiting North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS), observed Northwest Rankin's softball team notch a victory over North Pike by a tally of 11-0.

The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Arrows go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Clinton gained a win over North Pike (Summit, MS), 4-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. North Pike will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to South Jones (Ellisville, MS).
