Mississippi High School Softball - West Union bounces Tupelo

The West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) softball routed the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), 12-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4. West Union will encounter a Urchins team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Tupelo moves to 1-6 on the season. The Golden wave host Starkville (Starkville, MS) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a 7A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, March 4. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 3-2.
