The Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) baseball got by the visiting McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL), 8-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calera for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 3. Pelham will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

The Yellowjackets (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Rams enter the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Ramsay was nudged by Springville (Springville, AL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
