The Austin Black Bears overwhelmed the host Grissom Tigers softball squad by a count of 22-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Bears meet the James Clemens Jets (Madison, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 28. Austin will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Jets come into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL).

With the loss, Grissom moves to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AL) to encounter the Panthers in a 7A Area 7 outing on Tuesday, March 3.
