Texas High School Softball - Lindale bounces Pine Tree

In Saturday's non-league test, the Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a tally of 8-1.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX) in a 4A Region II District 15 test, on Tuesday, March 3. Lindale will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Molina (Dallas, TX).

The Pirates (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Sulphur Springs got by New Diana (Diana, TX), 9-2, in a non-league outing.
