The South Paulding Spartans baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Central Lions to 4 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Walton (Marietta, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Walton was overwhelmed by North Paulding (Dallas, GA), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Mount Pisgah Christian was overwhelmed by Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA), 10-4, in a league match.
