With the win, Etowah upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Eagles host Allatoona (Acworth, GA) to battle the Buccaneers in a 6A Area 6 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 6-3.

With the defeat, Sequoyah falls to 4-6 on the season. The Chiefs host Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-8.
