The Lassiter Trojans baseball team (Marietta, GA), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA)
The Greyhounds now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprayberry for a 6A Area 7 outing on Tuesday, March 5. Pope will face a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 10-3 league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-5.
Next, the Trojans face the Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA) in a 6A Area 7 outing, on Tuesday, March 5. Lassiter will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 7-2 record after their 14-4 non-league win over St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
