The Steele Knights the visiting O'Connor Panthers baseball team by a count of 5-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Churchill for a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. Steele will face a Chargers team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Rouse (Leander, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-7.
Next, the Panthers face the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 29. O'Connor will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Rattlers enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harlingen (Harlingen, TX).
