With the win, Stephens County upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Indians host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to battle the Purple Hurricanes in a 3A Area 8 test on Monday, March 4. The Purple Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 1-6.

With the defeat, Rabun County falls to 1-5 on the season. The Wildcats host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-5. East Jackson lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA)
