Idaho High School Basketball - Oakley can't hold off Butte County

The Butte County Pirates basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Oakley Hornets to 40 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lapwai for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Butte County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 89-44 non-league win over Victory Charter (Nampa, ID). The Wildcats record now stands at 23-2.
The Hornets (17-7) will now prepare for their bout against Victory Charter (Nampa, ID). The Vipers go into the non-league bout with a 18-7 record. In their last bout, Victory Charter was edged by Lapwai (Lapwai, ID), 89-44, in a non-league bout.
