The Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) basketball knocked off the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 54-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 21-1 record. In their last test, St. Elizabeth notched a victory over Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE), 47-41, in a non-league test.
The Colonials now own a 16-4 record.
