The John Marshall Rockets basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Mankato West Scarlets to 54 in the Rockets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rockets now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Wing for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. John Marshall will battle a Wingers team coming off a 78-67 league loss to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Wingers record now stands at 8-19.
The Scarlets (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-27 record. In their last contest, Albert Lea was routed by Lake City (Lake City, MN), 72-37, in a league contest.
