The Palmer Moose topped the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions basketball team by a final score of 72-53 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Moose face the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights game, on Friday, March 1. Palmer will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Stars enter the game with a 12-10 record after their 50-40 non-league win over Houston (Big Lake, AK).

With the defeat, Mountain City Christian Academy moves to 7-17 on the year.
