The Golden Valley Grizzlies volleyball team (Santa Clarita, CA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA)

The Coyotes (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Vikings come into the Foothill challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Valencia was edged by Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies encounter the Hart Indians (Newhall, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Tuesday, March 5. Golden Valley will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA).
