The Kiana Lynx basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Aqqaluk Bears to 48 in the Lynx non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lynx now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Napaaqtugmiut for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Kiana will battle a Lynx team coming off a 60-57 league win over Buckland (Buckland, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 7-6.
The Bears (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Davis-Romoth (Selawik, AK). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Davis-Romoth was nudged by Buckland (Buckland, AK), 70-57, in a non-league contest.
