The Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA), 59-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups go into the non-league test with a 21-6 record. In their last test, Gonzaga Prep notched a victory over Woodinville (Woodinville, WA), 50-42, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 23-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodinville for a non-league test on Friday, March 1. Kamiakin will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 24-3.
